Epi-OTIC is a non-irritating ear detergent and drying with lactic acid-based disinfectants and salicylic acid in encapsulated (smeared) and in free form and contains chitosanide and sodium document. It is excellent for softening and removing outer European and inflammatory material in the outer ear canal of dogs and cats.
Lactic acid has disinfectant properties (pH reduction). Salicylic acid is keratolytically active (softened horny layer) and therefore anti-inflammatory and itching. It has a desiccant effect. Scarilites are microspheres, which are arranged in layers, which cause a delayed release of active substances and therefore a more lasting effect. Chitosanide is a biodegradable biopolymer that sticks to skin and hair with rubbed and has a humidity adjustment effect. Sodium marriage is the surface tension that is reduced, for which a strong improvement of the piercing capacity of the liquid is obtained.
